1. TO OFFER OUR SERVICE, WE MUST STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. Because of the nature of CardScoop, offering our service requires that we store the personal information that you choose to share with us including, but not limited to, your name, e-mail address, phone number, user names for other online services, etc.
2. WE MAKE THIS PERSONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO ANYBODY THAT SCANS YOUR PERSONAL QR CODE. We have no way of knowing if a person that scans your QR Code is an intended recipient of your QR Code (i.e., somebody you wanted to get it) or an unintended recipient of your QR Code (i.e., somebody you didn’t want to get it). Accordingly, any user that scans your QR Code will be able to get the information you associated with that QR Code on our site or via our mobile application. For this reason, we suggest only sharing business information on the QR Code – the same as you would on a business card.
3. WE WILL STORE YOUR INFORMATION AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR AS LONG AS YOU HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT WITH US.
4. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT, WE’LL BE VERY SORRY TO SEE YOU GO BUT WE’LL STILL DELETE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. Yes, it’s just that simple.
